Berlins DIE VERLIERER are back with their second album, on which they pick up pretty seamlessly on their brilliant debut from 2022. The sound still closely combines influences from the 80s underground – NDW, postpunk, punk rock – Abwärts, Stricher, Chaos Z.. However, due to the times we live in, the tracks are more serious and dystopian. 14 numbers with cold cutting guitar, dull meandering basslines and urgent vocals that are sometimes dangerous (Notausgang), but at other times quite catchy (Fck this city).
